I try to keep my shoe addiction to a limit. I have 40 some odd pairs. That is low-key for me. Unfortunately as the next Imelda Marcos, I have found something to fuel my addiction. Alegandra G. Shoes.

This follows the trend of EVERY summer EVERYWHERE, bright colors. In summertime you want to wear amazing clothes that pop. Seeing this shoe made me think of warmth, sun and the ultimate LA thing, wearing next to nothing with a pair of hot shoes.

If you are looking for a little more class and not sass the appropriately named ‘Bradshaw’, is my next want of the moment.

I swear I could wear this with everything.

 

And if you are looking for a nice summer, sweet lacy look, this shoe is deliciously girliy. I like that it’s demure without being boring Boho.

Alegandra G. shoes are starting to become of celebs. Because these demand sexy clients they have donned the feet of Adrianne Curry, Taryn Manning and the cute Lil Mama (think Nicki Minaj in wee form).

Signature sole’s with black and white stripes, shoe seduction and celebrities are grabbing these. And so am I.

Frankly I walk around LA too much so I think I’ll grab these ‘Amber’ spiked leopard print flats.

As a bitch on the go I need something comfortable and dangerous. This will keep the mugger’s away.

Fluoro, Te Adoro! On Trend for SS2012

I’ve tried to avoid the fluorescent trend this summer labeling it as 90’s throwback and ‘too bold’ for me. I’ve sneered and jeered at it and thought it was a Forever 21 ‘youth’ trend for people 16 and under.

Until about 2 days ago when I saw the cutest fluorescent pink shoes on my girl Sophie Dee.

I still can’t believe it was my mouth saying, “OMG I love those!”

I’ve found fluorescent’s to actually be appealing and the perfect bold accessory. An accent to a scintillating LBD. Rocking the itsy bitsy, teeny-weeny, bikini at a pool party, and even better, the runway.

-Too pretty, to pass up

I think my past trauma with fluorescent ‘Jams’ and splatter paint everything from the late 80s-early 90s, can AND will be overcome this summer. After all I was only a child at the time and I think I blocked most of it out. Some people forget their clothes at school, I dream of bad clothes.

For hopping on this hot trend this summer since I need baby steps I recommend starting with pretty shoes, bright colors.

I completely endorse this as a great way to find your comfort zone with Neon and Fluorescent trends. It’s bold and daring without being overbearing. Dontcha think? Also I am still shaky on the whole Neon thing and want to try it with sexy skirts, shorts or jeans.

BUT…THIS is what really did the convincing.

Even Fergie looks good in brilliant beautiful neon orange.

2012 Grammy awards and working it!

I cannot stand the Ferg. It’s nothing personal but she just reeks of ew, bad outfits and I don’t even want to think about her and Josh Duhamel together. *shudder*

Her saving grace? She just made me like fluorescent in fashion.

If she looks this good in fluorescent orange, I’m sold. Her often eccentric fashion choices (except for anything Gareth Pugh) generally turn me off. This proves that fluorescent are the perfect sexy, summer accessory. A must for my next red carpet.

Sexy, alluring and definitely an attention grabber. Mix and match or just use it as an accent. Outta my way kittens! I have some 80s trauma that I need to get over. Fluorescent’s just found their way into my wardrobe.

Getting Your Platform On – Brian Atwood shoes

I love a platform shoe as much as I love my own mother. Seeing as I adore my mother, this is a testament to my adoration of anything that makes me ‘taller’ and elongates my sexy dancers legs. I am also hideously deformed in the fashion world at 5’2 and am seriously considering plastic surgery for my ‘shortness’.

Or the next best thing. The Brian Atwood platform shoe.

I found his collection quite by accident on the ever lovely http://www.net-a-porter.com and am happy to say that not only am I a convert, but have been saved from the AWFUL knee extension plastic surgery I have been contemplating (seriously, ow).

Brian Atwood has brought the platform back and re-sculpted it so it’s not ankle breaking and wearable. If the ‘basic’ shoe is not your bag, his shoes transcend the norm and come in color.

And an open toe block heel, because walking around any city become unstable and it’s easier to ride the train in these.

Brian Atwood also has a flair for the dramatic in his shoes, and although it is a smaller platform I would buy it anyway. The almost art nouveau look just makes it worth it.

Yes, please!!

So sexy. Overall I am hooked like the shoe whore I am and have officially labeled his collection #shoeporn.

New This Wedding Season “Bridal Uggs”

It hurt’s me to type this, but it is true as verified by the Huffington Post, there are 100% authentic…Bridal Uggs.

Now I have always been on the fence as far as Uggs are concerned. I see they have a place in casual, laundry day, late night supermarket run and OMG it’s actually cold wear in CA. Although I refuse to own a pair, they are not Crocs and therefore, tolerable.

Bridal Uggs, though? Welllllll…….take a look at the official collection.

What Pornstars are Wearing

Last month I went to the XRCO adult awards at The Highlands. Sadly my night got cut short but before it did I had a chance to see and ask about some of the fashion they wore. Surprisingly it was as far from the Hollywood Blvd. slut dress as you can get.

Despite wearing a completely lace thong and catsuit (yeah I know it’s sexy, so I am giving you pics) Diamond Skin isn’t your porntastic girl at all. She is actually a heavy-duty shoe-ista.

Diamond Skin also rocked a pair of $265 Jeffrey Campbell Shadow Spiked Booties. This makes me want to be her new BFF. The girl rocks porn and fashion?

I was happily surprised to find out that although porn stars like bling, they don’t trash it up at all. In fact these ladies were wearing the most elegant and classy necklaces I have ever seen.

I assure you these are classy ladies who know how to bring fashion with a little reaction. Brilliant, beautiful and sometimes naked.

Never under-estimate a porn star. She just might be the girl you are fighting at Barney’s over the limited edition shoes you want. Chances are she’ll win the smack down too.
