Justin Timberlake is Marrying Jessica Biel, yeah whatever.

Well, I have heard it through the Huffington Post so it must be real.

Mind you this is the guy who fake doinked (or did he?) Mila Kunis and dated in no particular order; Fergie, Britney Spears, Jenna Dewan, Alyssa Milano, and Cameron Diaz, when they were all hot and not tragic and looked like this.

Marriage to Jessica Biehl who he proposed to in January 2012.

Doesn’t he look psychotically happy kittens? Seeing as he’s cheated on her 3-4 times I am sure this will go well.  Don’t you think so? I can’t wait for the media circus that will be their wedding.

Getting Your Platform On – Brian Atwood shoes

I love a platform shoe as much as I love my own mother. Seeing as I adore my mother, this is a testament to my adoration of anything that makes me ‘taller’ and elongates my sexy dancers legs. I am also hideously deformed in the fashion world at 5’2 and am seriously considering plastic surgery for my ‘shortness’.

Or the next best thing. The Brian Atwood platform shoe.

I found his collection quite by accident on the ever lovely http://www.net-a-porter.com and am happy to say that not only am I a convert, but have been saved from the AWFUL knee extension plastic surgery I have been contemplating (seriously, ow).

Brian Atwood has brought the platform back and re-sculpted it so it’s not ankle breaking and wearable. If the ‘basic’ shoe is not your bag, his shoes transcend the norm and come in color.

And an open toe block heel, because walking around any city become unstable and it’s easier to ride the train in these.

Brian Atwood also has a flair for the dramatic in his shoes, and although it is a smaller platform I would buy it anyway. The almost art nouveau look just makes it worth it.

Yes, please!!

So sexy. Overall I am hooked like the shoe whore I am and have officially labeled his collection #shoeporn.

New This Wedding Season “Bridal Uggs”

It hurt’s me to type this, but it is true as verified by the Huffington Post, there are 100% authentic…Bridal Uggs.

Now I have always been on the fence as far as Uggs are concerned. I see they have a place in casual, laundry day, late night supermarket run and OMG it’s actually cold wear in CA. Although I refuse to own a pair, they are not Crocs and therefore, tolerable.

Bridal Uggs, though? Welllllll…….take a look at the official collection.

Complete with pretty white flowers to let you know they are ‘BRIDAL’ and not to be worn as a normal Ugg these babies include a lovely slipper Ugg, a shiny opalescent sequined Ugg and my favorite.

A Swarovski crystal Ugg that screams ‘I have too much money and no class’.

I suppose bridal parties like this made it inevitable.

So carry on Uggs. Destroy all that is sacred and turn yourself into Crocs. I hope the designers put an end to this and make this 2012 Bridal Collection ‘Limited Edition’.

This certainly tested my gag reflex writing this blog. Here’s hoping Ugg stop’s before it’s too late.

What Pornstars are Wearing

Last month I went to the XRCO adult awards at The Highlands. Sadly my night got cut short but before it did I had a chance to see and ask about some of the fashion they wore. Surprisingly it was as far from the Hollywood Blvd. slut dress as you can get.

Despite wearing a completely lace thong and catsuit (yeah I know it’s sexy, so I am giving you pics) Diamond Skin isn’t your porntastic girl at all. She is actually a heavy-duty shoe-ista.

Diamond Skin also rocked a pair of $265 Jeffrey Campbell Shadow Spiked Booties. This makes me want to be her new BFF. The girl rocks porn and fashion?

I was happily surprised to find out that although porn stars like bling, they don’t trash it up at all. In fact these ladies were wearing the most elegant and classy necklaces I have ever seen.

I assure you these are classy ladies who know how to bring fashion with a little reaction. Brilliant, beautiful and sometimes naked.

Never under-estimate a porn star. She just might be the girl you are fighting at Barney’s over the limited edition shoes you want. Chances are she’ll win the smack down too.

Adolfo Sanchez FW 2012 lookbook, casual, comfortable and dead sexy

I love following new and unique brands and emerging designers. There is something fascinating watching the mutation of clothing and the shapes and style it takes as a designer becomes more knowledgeable and climbs higher in the industry.

I have been watching the Adolfo Sanchez line since around 2009-2010. Since then he has surpassed his peers and is conquering the competition. He has gone for the a small shop and design studio to a showroom, shows in Paris, New York and brought great fashion back to LA.

I am blessed to know such immeasurable talent and he has just sent me his uber gorgeous Lookbook for his new FW 2012 collection.

Uncle Karl Reigns Supreme with outlandish must see FW 2012 RTW fashion show. Middle Earth be damned!

In case you have not heard, Karl Lagerfield is a demi-god. He runs the House of Chanel creating and breaking the boundaries of ways to look at fashion.
He has done it again with an overly opulent show and gem studded runway. The towering crystals were laid on a runway tinted with purple hues that reflected in his collection. This is the dramatic arts cutting edge.

Rihanna partners with Armani to create 2nd collection

Looks like the music industry can’t keep their hands out of fashion. Kanye dove in deep and now RiRi has launched her second collection collaborating with Armani. According to British Vogue;

Rihanna has teamed up with Armani Jeans and Emporio Armani Underwear to design another collection, imbued with her own boyish, dressed-down style.

Although I greatly respect Rihanna as an artist I am not so sure about her heading too far in the world of fashion. Most of her really amazing costumes have been designed by the UK’s resident surrealist Gareth Pugh. I am 100% behind her creating a new hit single, but the thought of her designing underwear?

Thoughts? Give me a reason to believe, folks.
