For those of us who were unable to attend Coachella this year (shut up, I hate my self too) Beyoncé proved that she IS EVERYTHING. Goddess, artist and fashionista supreme. Working her bey-otiful booty for 3 hours she pretty much swept the floor with all of us. This is the only time I will ever say this: I am shook.
I’m talking fashion. Yes, Beyoncé is amazing. Yes her performance was a once in a lifetime experience, but so was her insanely over the top outfits. I was floored by the amazing, never-ending, insane, over the top outfits by Olivier Rousteing’s Balmain.
Look at this and tell me you are not overwhelmed and want to happy cry.
These designs by the house of Balmain realized are beyond the beyond. The original sketches are surreal and show the work of the talent and imagination of a true artist. Realized, they are exemplary and enduring. Sorry Jay-Z you have competition. Beyonce and Balmain are truly, unforgettable.
Didn’t see Coachella but dying for your daily tidbit. Here is one of the only decent copies of the show circulating at the moment. Watch Beyoncé and Jay-Z kill “Deja-Vu” at Coachella.
Check out that outfit on Queen B. It’s just devastating.
I’ve ditched all my vices these days in favor of becoming an adrenaline junkie. There is nothing more exhilarating in my life than being thrown into an extreme situation. I live for it. That’swhy when I get offered a 20 model fashion show, I can NEVER say no.
When I was asked to help out with the amazing yearly Hollyrod Foundation Designcare 2015 event to tap a quality designer I said yes. In the past they have worked with fashion superstars such as Naem Khan and Emmauel Ungaro. Finding a fit in Los Angeles would be difficult but not impossible. I have great connections, and know even better designers. I tapped the stunningly talented Adolfo Sanchez and within 24 hours he and the amazing , Holly Peete Robinson and Hollyrod Foundation were working together.

Once you commit and find someone that is high caliber to a charity event this size things get out of control. First you get the designer, than you get tapped to help, than you are the Key Stylist for 20 models, in 20 looks with two personal assistants. The models were gorgeous, the dresses were beautiful, and made me remember why I got in this business 8+ years ago, and the cause was worth working for.
Backstage was small but we managed to get all the girls in their dresses and looking stunning. All the headpieces, crowns, etc were provided by the lovely Fiori Couture. She makes the most magical fantasy pieces of couture you have ever seen.
Model Natalie in Fiori Couture crown and corset.
Chaz Dean Studio provided Hair and make up s our girls looked professionaly made over. Backstage was cramped but we managed to get everyone in their dresses, head dresses with matching accessories.
This is backstage;
We even had fresh flowers thanks to @VSanchezFlowers from Orange county.
Believe it or not this hot mess turns into the most beautiful, and well coordinated show you have ever seen. This is what we managed.
Overall this was a fantastic event to be part of. I got to be head/Key Stylist, had amazing assistants and co-workers .
HUGE thanks to Traci May Wagner for taking over backstage, she is an OG industry professional who works around the world and I was lucky to have her.
Check out May Wagner PR
Marie Bargas and Drea Johnson for helping me. Dressing models in dresses with 15-foot trains is no joke.
Drea, Marie and I in our dressing room.
Special thanks to the Hollyrod Foundation for including me in their event. They are amazingly professional, and they are doing their part to help educate families and children with Autism and give them the tools they need to to be strong, and overcome adversity and learning disability.
Check out the Hollyrod Foundation, by clicking below, and donate whatever you can to this fabulous cause. Or go to http://www.hollyrod.org/ to learn more.
Hedwig and the Angry Itch is one of my all time top 10 movies I love, adore and sing along to like a truly skilled shower singer. This means I have a crap voice but LOVE everything to do with this movie so I will make you suffer anyway. This also means if you haven’t watched it, straight or part of our lovely LGBT community, you should.
It in fact is so good it has become a sold out show on Broadway. Even more amazing is the new lead Hedwig is our favorite, delicious piece of supermodel chocolate, Taye Diggs. And he’s owning it.
Her is the first press photo of Taye rocking the transvestite, with the angry inch, Hedwig.
Work that ruby glitter Taye! We’re rooting for you to own this production!!
Reason 2 million I love LA. Our local weirdos. Dennis Woodruff, Angelyne and a newer local favorite, Richie the Barber!
Part barber, part strange anomaly and all sorts of cool clown, Richie the Barber is a great guy and even better hair stylist. Or so I’ve heard. Talent and a love for all things clown and hair, makes Richie ok in my book. However being the ultra clean, I want all white in my dressing room diva, Jennifer Lopez is, she is not such a fan.
Jenny from the really expensive, diamond encrusted block, got sprinkled with a nice glitter bomb by Richie while leaving LAX. Richie apparently did the same to Khloe and Kourtney Kar-trashian in 2014.
I’m all for attacking celebu-trash with glitter, but I kind of like the Lopez. Next time try a little confetti Richie. I am sure there will be less cursing and name calling.
PS to TMZ – calling Richie and idiot is beyond kettle calling pot black. You guys are scum of the earth. He at least is a freaky but nice, and having fun.
I want to declare my mad love for Iggy Azalea right now. Up to a point. This is that point.
, Los Angeles, CA – 04/9/2015 – Britney Spears and Iggy Azalea film a Music Video -PHOTO by: Vince Flores/startraksphoto.com
Welcome to the fabulous new release by mostly Britney Spears with a dash of Iggy Azalea to push it into the Top 40 billboard hits. It’s called ‘Pretty Girls’ because really it’s all you hear during this god awful mess. It tried to be some 80s-ish redux of ‘Earth Girls are Easy’ mixed with basic 80s trash style, and turned into a straight train wreck of idiocy. Britney is repetitive more than usual and the itsy-bitsy Iggy part of her rapping is barely hearable. Overall, bad, bad, FAIL.
I know I am scathing and harsh when it comes to stuff like this so I will let you gauge for yourself, how, erm, interesting this video is. Good luck and try not to drop your jaw in disbelief too hard.
When people ask what I do I have a wide variety of responses. Writer, Editor, Superhero, fangirl, foodie, luchadora, pretzel vendor, fashionista, oh and that thing I do, Wardrobe Styling and Image Branding.
Sure I like pretty clothes that are nice and Michael Kors and Tom Ford are my heroes. But bring me a dress that is over the top couture insanity and I’m hooked. I want to work with it, love it and stick every client I have in it.
My client and friend Joy Villa is something special. She’s diverse, beautiful, 1000% vegan, a hardcore physically fit songstress. She is something special and her style is off the hook.

She called me ecstatic, she was headed to the Grammy’s in a few weeks and needed something as amazing, and over the top as her personality. I hooked her up with Andre Soriano, and magic happened. Joy chose the most amazing, creative thing Andre has ever sent down the runway, the couture cage dress made of snow fencing. AS a stylist I make sure that the dress they choose is the MAIN event, but always have other wardrobe choices for parties and after parties
During the fitting we chose three dresses all of which she wore like a supermodel. Stunning and sensual she wore the first, and sexiest to Jay-Z’s ‘Rocnation’ brunch.
This dress was skin-tight and Joy looked beautiful while she mingled with celebrities.

But let’s look at what you really came here for, The third and most outrageous was the orange dress that made headlines around the world.
Joy and I had an AMAZING fitting with Andre.
Up in the hills of Hollywood strange and beautiful things happen. At the fitting I met the beautiful Ruby Roxanne or Ruby Roxanne Designs and Hollywood Dolls.
Her partner in crime is ex-Pussycat Doll Kaya Jones. Her line is just what we needed for Joy to look gorgeous and we added Swarovski drop earrings and this leather and Swarovski bracelet;
With Nichole Ray Artistry on make-up the day of Joy turned out an unforgettable Grammy look.

Love it or hate it Joy Villa rocked it at the Grammy’s and got center stage at the Grammy’s. (And to answer the burning question, yes I put pasties on her and she was not completely nude.)
Apparently we rocked it because as much as she may have gotten some bad reviews we are trending at 81,000 hits in Asia and are on blogs in the UK, France, Germany, Poland, Czech Republic and all over the Philippines.
I want to say congratulations to my team, Andre Soriano (couture King), Ruby Roxanne Designs (Jewelry is everything), Nichole Ray Artistry (her skin was perfection), Thorsten von Overgarrd (one of the best photogs I have ever met) and especially to Joy Villa for rocking the red caret and her amazing energy the whole time!
Don’t know who Joy Villa is, but want to find out? Check out her Vagabonds video below;
Well kittens I am off to LAFW and I can’t be bothered. However, obviously I DO care.
So in all fairness I will leave you with the brand spanking new Chanel No5 editorial video of Gisele Bundchen looking like a million dollars, in the ocean, down an alley looking sexy, sultry and positively radiant.
Growing up Joan Rivers was always there. On TV as a comedienne, on The Muppets with Miss Piggy and fighting the good fight with the Fashion Police. Never once did she not appreciate the funny things and people in life. Always stellar, a star and an inspiration Joan Rivers is indeed, the definition of Comedy itself.
Sadly today we lost Joan Rivers at 81. Surrounded by friends and family she left us. Melissa Rivers her daughter released this statement;
“It is with great sadness that I announce the death of my mother, Joan Rivers. She passed peacefully at 1:17pm surrounded by family and close friends. My son and I would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff of Mount Sinai Hospital for the amazing care they provided for my mother.
Cooper and I have found ourselves humbled by the outpouring of love, support, and prayers we have received from around the world. They have been heard and appreciated.
My mother’s greatest joy in life was to make people laugh. Although that is difficult to do right now, I know her final wish would be that we return to laughing soon.” –Melissa Rivers
We will truly miss you Joan. You were, and always will be an inspiration.
Because the middle of the week promises many things. It means you made it to Wednesday, it’s the middle of a grueling work week, it’s #HumpDay and worst of all you are at work on a beautiful summer day.
Thank you Calvin Harris. Playing all summer long, Calvin Harris has decimated the charts with his awesome theme for this Summer of 2014, simply titled ‘Summer’.
So here’s the chart topping ‘Summer’ to brighten your day. Happy Hump Day from me and the sexiness that is Calvin Harris. You deserve a break today. Now go dance in your cubicle….
As the weekend draws near I realize how AMPED I am to ditch all you faithful readers and head off on my first vacation in 4 years. Yeah I am sure you think us bloggers are living non stop excitement and jet setting, but reality is we work our tiny heiny’s off. And I will be working in Vegas styling a secret shoot.
But it IS Vegas. What happens there during the end of Magic Fashion Market week, and a bunch of fashion people? Well, check my Instagram @HeathyrWolfe. Not everything that happens in Vegas stays, some ends up on my Instagram, Twitter and Facebook. I like to share my debauchery.
With my fantastic weekend coming up, I can’t find a funkier space adventure that motivates me quite like this video. Here’s Ariana Grande with ‘Break Free’ featuring the madness that is Zedd.
For those of you not rocking Vegas, enjoy Burning Man!
Leave it to the french fashion house of Balmain to take three everlasting and powerful beauties to grace their new campaign. Partnering with W Magazine, Balmain presents one of the most striking covers of the year.
The cover itself is stunning, but W mag and Olivier Rousteing, the new head of Balmain take things up a notch inside the pages of the magazine. Snagging the powerhouses that are Rihanna, Naomi Campbell and Iman, W magazine creates an overpowering editorial.
Olivier Rousteing proves without a doubt (pictured above), at 27, he is beyond brilliant as the new head designer and creative director of Balmain. We can’t wait to see what he comes up with next. Bring it Balmain!
Robin Williams signed off today leaving millions of dedicated fans and friends hanging their heads in loss.
Jay Paul for The New York Times
Not only was Robin Williams and amazing comedian and great actor but his legacy spans over forty years, leaving us with classics like Mork & Mindy, Popeye, Jumanji, The Fisher King and the everlasting classic Dead Poet’s Society.
Our heart goes out not only to him, but his family and wife Susan Schneider, who released the following statement to the New York Times’ Dave Itzkoff:
“This morning, I lost my husband and my best friend, while the world lost one of its most beloved artists and beautiful human beings. I am utterly heartbroken. On behalf of Robin’s family, we are asking for privacy during our time of profound grief. As he is remembered, it is our hope that the focus will not be on Robin’s death but on the countless moments of joy and laughter he gave to millions.”
Robin Williams had been battling depression and died from an apparent suicide from asphyxia, in his home, in Marin County.
Nanoo, Nanoo to a great actor. We’re sorry you signed out Robin Williams.
One of the few celebrities a la songstress I am enjoying these days is Rihanna. She has been up, down, fought the nipple censorship on Instagram and got past the foolishness that was Chris Brown. She has made waves in Fashion, both good and bad and then good again. She is pretty much done more in her early twenties than most achieve in lifetime and is bold as F**K.
Riri’s latest amazing campaign with MAC VIVA GLAM is just that.
Not only does she look stunning and the subtext of an all green Rihanna MAC Viva Glam Campaign, is not lost on us (4:20 much?). It screams Rihanna, being over the top, without looking too Nicki Minaj. This collaboration truly is proving that Rihanna is full of win, and knows how to work it like no other bitch in the industry (Except Queen B).
As awesome as Rihanna is working it, let’s get back to the VIVA GLAM make up for a second.
The new colors have a little tang of retro coming in an icy purple, leaving you frosty sexy. This grape color makes us at Heathyrwolfe.com, want to lick our own lips. I swear I saw this color all over the 70’s and resurfaced in 90’s. In fact I think I had this color at one point and used it to the nub.
MAC is keeping it affordable ranging between $16-18 dollars, so if you feel like getting your sexy on this is the color. Problem? Yes there is. This sexy ass tube of gorgeous doesn’t come out until October/September, which means we have to bide our time using Lipglass for the rest of the summer.
Get primed for fall and prepare your Paypal. This color will be everywhere and you want to be the first in line to get it. Added Bonus?
All profits go to helping women and children living with and affected by HIV/AIDS.
In case you have been hiking Mt. Kilimanjaro, or perhaps living in cave, awesome popular music just dropped.
Beyoncé, Queen of Quite A Lot, and Nicki Minaj, girl with Quite A Lot of Booty collaborated. And it was awesome. Addressing the Solange elevator debacle and good ‘ol haters, these two hot hip hop songstress’ brought the best case of illz I have had in a while.
Today in the US, Millions of Americans will hoof it to the lovely post office and stand in the worst line ever to file their taxes. Or an extension. Or realize they didn’t make enough and are too broke this year to file. Ah, the 21st century blues.
Even though we love being responsible *cough* we love things that are FREE and irresponsible better. I bring you good news and tidings from the awesomeness that is FREE shows.
Lance Herbstrong is putting on a free show at the Whisky go-go Hollywood! Yes, FREE. I love that word because living in Los Angeles is NOT cheap. Plus it makes for a fun show with a great vibe full of fun people.
Added incentive is the uber cool BREALTV is helping host it. BREALTV is like the High Times of television. Oh and the special guests? Well, past friends of Lance Herbstrong include Flea of the Red Hot Chili Peppers who gave Lance a shout out onstage and George Clinton of Parliament and Atomic Dog. Last but not least, If you haven’t heard or been to the Whisky GoGo, it’s the famed venue where the Doors got their start and became a mega band. Also mega players breeze through for ‘special’ events like this one. It’s historically and musically awesome.
