The last week have been a whirlwind. I recently got back from a relaxing and enjoyable month-long vacation in the California Redwoods.
Look, city folk this is what trees look like…
Apparently it was too relaxing because the second I headed back to LA I got double booked on some amazing shoots.
The first was for a longtime acquaintance in LA who is tiny, cute and beyond fit, model and performer Elizabeth Deo. She’s not only a professional but an absolute delight. All the photos are heading straight to the sexy and scintillating ‘Manic Magazine’.
It was a crushing 102F but thankfully all Elizabeth is a complete professional and only required lingerie.
Two days later I was back at it again with my absolute favorite client Eugenia Kuzmina.
Eugenia has been a runway and print model for tons of amazing clients, such as;
In her early 20’s she transitioned into acting and has most recently been in ‘Fury’ with Brad Pitt.
It’s not hard to see why I love this woman, She’s tall, gorgeous, leggy, talented and, a supermom. Her most recent photography project is creating a coffee table book I have been lucky enough to work on with her as a Art Director and Key Stylist. It’s all about being a supermodel/supermom.
We had an amazing shoot day and got the kids wired on sugar. A perfect combo for amazing shots.Here are some of the behind the scenes photos
I want to thank my kick ass crews that made it possible, my sexy ass models Elizabeth Deo and Eugenia Kuzmina, and look forward to working with you all again!
What’s next for this little wardrobe stylista? A shoot for Powder Room Magazine. Everyday is a runway kittens, make today yours!
Keep checking back for new blog posts and updates.
Oh yes! Hello my sexy kittens. With my fabulous birthday passing (May 24th) I decided it was time for a long overdue update to my site. What you see here is a new format with fabulous, easy to ready fonts, pages, my styling port and more. I will be constantly undergoing construction because I am a total nerd girl and love updating techy things.
Soon there will be more media, videos, photos and blog posts than you can shake your iPhone at.
Much love and feedback is always welcome, though rarely taken seriously.

When people ask what I do I have a wide variety of responses. Writer, Editor, Superhero, fangirl, foodie, luchadora, pretzel vendor, fashionista, oh and that thing I do, Wardrobe Styling and Image Branding.
Sure I like pretty clothes that are nice and Michael Kors and Tom Ford are my heroes. But bring me a dress that is over the top couture insanity and I’m hooked. I want to work with it, love it and stick every client I have in it.
My client and friend Joy Villa is something special. She’s diverse, beautiful, 1000% vegan, a hardcore physically fit songstress. She is something special and her style is off the hook.

She called me ecstatic, she was headed to the Grammy’s in a few weeks and needed something as amazing, and over the top as her personality. I hooked her up with Andre Soriano, and magic happened. Joy chose the most amazing, creative thing Andre has ever sent down the runway, the couture cage dress made of snow fencing. AS a stylist I make sure that the dress they choose is the MAIN event, but always have other wardrobe choices for parties and after parties
During the fitting we chose three dresses all of which she wore like a supermodel. Stunning and sensual she wore the first, and sexiest to Jay-Z’s ‘Rocnation’ brunch.
This dress was skin-tight and Joy looked beautiful while she mingled with celebrities.

But let’s look at what you really came here for, The third and most outrageous was the orange dress that made headlines around the world.
Joy and I had an AMAZING fitting with Andre.
Up in the hills of Hollywood strange and beautiful things happen. At the fitting I met the beautiful Ruby Roxanne or Ruby Roxanne Designs and Hollywood Dolls.
Her partner in crime is ex-Pussycat Doll Kaya Jones. Her line is just what we needed for Joy to look gorgeous and we added Swarovski drop earrings and this leather and Swarovski bracelet;
With Nichole Ray Artistry on make-up the day of Joy turned out an unforgettable Grammy look.
Photo by Thorsten von Overgarrd and touch up by me
Love it or hate it Joy Villa rocked it at the Grammy’s and got center stage at the Grammy’s. (And to answer the burning question, yes I put pasties on her and she was not completely nude.)
Apparently we rocked it because as much as she may have gotten some bad reviews we are trending at 81,000 hits in Asia and are on blogs in the UK, France, Germany, Poland, Czech Republic and all over the Philippines.
I want to say congratulations to my team, Andre Soriano (couture King), Ruby Roxanne Designs (Jewelry is everything), Nichole Ray Artistry (her skin was perfection), Thorsten von Overgarrd (one of the best photogs I have ever met) and especially to Joy Villa for rocking the red caret and her amazing energy the whole time!
Don’t know who Joy Villa is, but want to find out? Check out her Vagabonds video below;
In the last month Fashion land has gotten crazy busy. I forgot I had a blog, and started living la vida ‘Devil Wears Prada’. No life, lot’s of fashion business.
This includes getting swept up in my newest venture as….a judge. No not American Idol (Seacrest I’m waiting for your call), but in something just as crazy good.
Drum roll please…..
TA-DAH! It’s LA Fashion Week Design Competiton!
Aren’t you excited? You should be. Here’s why LAFW Design Competition is going to rock your little designer socks.
LAFWDC is massive. Ten contestants will be showcasing their amazing work on the runway at Penthouse 1050. We have amazing sponsors from Runway Rythm, gift bags sponsored by the lovely SKINNY Bags, Es Kae Noir, Jay’s Party Cakes and celebrity host Ilisa Juried (Pussycat Dolls, BET Awards for Beyonce). Besides our 10 contestants, celebrity judge Dom Streater, winner of Project RUNWAY season 13, will be showcasing her collection. All in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles.
Oh, and I will be there judging the heck out of these designers. Food, celebrities, music and FASH-ION! What more could you want? Oh right, a link to the event.
I know I have been missing in action. But while you were all snuggled into your beds by the fireplace I was braving LAFW in 6 inch heels. Although I left with a terrible injury (damn those heels), it was all worth it.
Thanks to a wonderful meeting of minds, Pre and Post LAFW, I’ve been booked as guest judge with the effervescent talent known as Dom Streater. If you aren’t familiar with the crazy talent of Dom Streater she was the winner of Project Runway, Season 12.
Here’s the best part, we’ll be judging 10 contestants showing their designs on the runway and give $1,000 to the winner.
I am proud to say that since it’s inception two years ago, you all have made Heathyr Wolfe.com a raging success! I have everyone one of you dedicated, amazing and slightly twisted readers to thank. Being able to write helps but I couldn’t do it without you all!
Thanks again for a great year and here’s too much, much, more in 2014!

The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2013 annual report for this blog.
Here’s an excerpt:
Madison Square Garden can seat 20,000 people for a concert. This blog was viewed about 67,000 times in 2013. If it were a concert at Madison Square Garden, it would take about 3 sold-out performances for that many people to see it.
While most of you were partying, in the US, for Labor Day weekend, I was working.
Of course it’s hard to call it work when you travel in business class on the Pacific Surfliner to San Diego.I highly recommend taking it if you are in California. It is so choice.
View from the Surfliner to San Diego;
Then there is the fact it was to cover a fashion show. With a gorgeous room waiting for me. In the famous San Diego Gaslamp district. Walking distance from the pier.
My room at the Marriot;
Ok, OK I have rubbed it in enough, let’s talk fashion.
Camille Wood is the daughter of a Vogue model and was raised in the dressing room, backstage and on set. Being surrounded by models, fashion, photographers and make up Camille was born into fashion. However we all have our disadvantages and being too short to walk the runway like her mom, she became a fashion designer.
Proving yourself when you are walking in your family’s footsteps is difficult, but Camille has managed to outshine her mother by creating over the top, couture swimsuits and now, her new clothing line Tribal.
I arrived at the Broadway Port Pavilion which is a massive building.
Inside the Kenneth Barlis fashion show was packed with flowing full length gowns, men decked out in suits and array of fine nibbles and beverages. I was very impressed.
With my VIP press pass I headed backstage to a HUGE area that contained multiple designers racks of clothing, make-up artists, hair stylists a food table for crew and more.
I found Camille, who looked beyond beautiful in a white latex dress of her own design. She was busy prepping all the models but made time for everyone and every detail.
The ever radiant Camille Wood working with her model, Kelly Lenahan;
Even though it was hot, humid and took time to get everyone ready, all Camille’s models were in a great mood and full of smiles. We were in the very back of the building by the fresh air off the port of San Diego so the models were happy.
Max Tijerino getting his make up done;
And the head dresses were out of this world.
A Beaming Suzanne Shea Reed in hers;
And Jovane Henry looking FIERCE in hers.
She owned her head-dress. It made me want to buy it.
And at last Javone Henry and Diana Lieziert in full wardrobe and make up.
We decided since we had the very back area of the port pavilion to use it to our advantage. We grabbed all the runway boys and girls we could find and went outside for a photo shoot in the fresh air off the back of the port pavilion. The outfits look good under the spotlight but were dazzling in the sun.
Tribal by Camille Wood

Macyn Turan
Suzzane Shea Reed
Diana Lieziert, Jovane Henry and Macyn Turan
And I got a selfie with my press pass;
When we came back in it was time for the girls to line up. I caught a perfect moment of them being dazzled by sunlight.
Then off to the front of the stage to catch the full show. When I walked out into the crowd I thanked Camille silently for my press pass. It was overly packed and the crowd spilled from the stage all the way into standing room only.
As the show began the first presenters came out wearing Kenneth Barlis couture gowns that were simply jaw dropping.
Then the charity presenter for the event, which helped raise money for Books for Kids in the Philippines was amazing and her story was touching. She came out in a stunning gown as well.
Poor girl was nervous but did an astounding job and made it through her speech.
The first show passed showing amazing ready to wear, that was very California casual. Cute jumpers, Jodhpur pants and leggings with clean designs and cute graph tee’s. Thigh high legging with high-waisted shorts and unisex pants. Super cute and very wearable.
When Camille’s line took the stage it was, overwhelming. Pounding tribal drum beats followed with two very handsome topless models with spears. Girls came out strutting the stage in skin baring outfits with goddess like head dresses. The final piece was a towering Diana Liezert in a backless netted latex dress with a live SNAKE wrapped around her waist! Beyond impressed.
Check out the full runway video I shot below;
I knew there was a reason Camille wanted me to cover this. Her ‘Tribal’ line literally coined the phrase ‘dress to impress’ that night for me. Turns out I wasn’t the only one who was enamored with her clothing that night. Turns out one of the models bought the top she wearing as well.
After seeing her swim line at LAFW and her Tribal line in San Diego, Camille Wood isn’t just one to watch anymore. She’s one to follow, wear and want.
What’s next for Camille? Check out the sounds byte below and get ready for a whole new wave of fashion from Camille Wood.
Huge thanks to Camille Wood for giving me a place to stay. Thanks to Camille Wood and Kenneth Barlis for backstage access. Lastly thanks to San Diego for having me.
Since it’s my birthday I fully reserve the right to not blog. BUT because I love you guys and could not do this without you I am going to leave you with some of my favorite fashion images. Enjoy and Happy Birthday to me!!
Yes for once this is all about ME! I was asked recently how someone can find me in the land of social media. Although I was tempted to answer, “Google me Bitch”, I decided not to be a snot and share my awesome social media sites.
Although this fills up constantly and I am having to play the delete game with a lot of filler profiles to make room for professionals and friends there is a chance you can hop on here and listen to me gripe. My personal stuff is posted here. Religious and political views. If you don’t want to know, don’t add it.
And if you need to get ahold of me there is an awesome contact form below.
Have a unique product, clothing or accessory line you want me to write-up? I am on it. Contact me below and we’ll work it out and get you some publicity. Emerging designers are my bread and buttah!
Thanks for the follow and may the fashion force be with you.
Fashion Week in LA was absolutely well done and gorgeous this year. I did miss some highlights and events, but one must pick and choose very wisely.
‘LA Runway’, event by Parris Harris Entertainment was an excellent choice especially since hey were doing a food drive for the LA Mission’s.
I brought another part of our Fast Lane Magazine editorial team, Rene Rivers with me to the event. One must always have fashionable friends with you. Rene Rivers (StyledbyRene.com) is a stylist, I knew she would enjoy the runway and clothing.
We checked in early so we got to watch run through’s and set up.
It’s always nice to know what you are getting into.
In Los Angeles we’ve had our issues with Fashion Week. This year however was organized and brilliant. In LA we aim to achieve more than NYFW by including the strange, unusual and always unexpected. I’m pleased to say Parris Harris Entertainment really went above and beyond with this show. Although it was a lengthy 4 hours it was worth every minute.
HUGE Thanks to Parris Harris. He seated in the front so we got a really clear view.
Front Diva. It’s what being a Fashion Editor is all about.
The place was packed.
I swear I though people would start swinging from the rafters. It was THAT kind of packed.
We were lucky to here a few kind words from one of the chair of the LA mission who serves over 2,000 meals a day here in Los Angeles to the homeless and needy. This woman is a saint.
After intro’s from the talented Alicia Hardesty & the LA Mission L Runway at Mansion rocked it with sexy Brazilian hitting the runway. Ay Mami!
If anyone ever says LA is boring again I am hiring these girls to come over. They WRECKED the runway.
Other AMAZING performances were by a high energy girl group called The Dolls
A one woman show who gives Lady Gaga a run for her money (somebody email this girls number to me), Spankie Valentine.
Spankie is not only gorgeous but she knows how to work a stage, an audience and bring the music. She’s got talent and style. Obviously influenced by Diva’s like Beyonce, Janet Jackson with a tiny dash of 80’s glam costuming. She’s got sass and flash and is definitely someone to keep an eye and ear on.
Check out pics from her ferosh stage show;
An amazing 9 year old songstress with a BIG voice Rianna
And one of the most talented violinst’s I have ever seen.
The Musicians were top notch and I will be forever grateful I got to see them perform each of their unique talents.
Six designers were featured on the runway throughout the evening. All the designers were amazing my favorites were Camille Wood, Jewelry Designer Carol Lynn Sweet of Sweet Designs and my friend Shekhar Rahate (you still owe me a drink!). I will be doing a piece on Carol’s jewelry line later this week but for now go check out here pieces at;
For crazy fun and swim/clubwear with some sass look no further than Camille Wood.
Camille has a killer smile, a mass of blond hair and is just all around fun. Her fashion is exactly the same with an addition of fantasy and swimsuits made for killer bodies. She topped them all with elegant and bejeweled headdresses making for a perfect outfit for the modern day Cleopatra. Or ballsy girl who loves to show shes more than the average beach girl.
Shekhar Rahate ended the show with classic beauty. His dresses have been seen on stars and celebrities at The Grammys, Helium Magazine, LA Fashion Week and at NY Fashion Week. The man is a master of his trade and produces nothing short of elegance.
Most of the dresses featured in Shekhar (literally meaning sugar) Rahate’s collection were lean, long and full of feminine grace. Gold hues mixed with Indian prints. Flowers printed silks and cottons were topped with elegant headdresses Definitely the man to go to for a red carpet dress.
Last night was a perfect kickoff to LAFW here in the city that glitters. Stars, fashion and the LGBT community came out for a perfect rainy evening at the Pacific Design Center to support the Macy’s OUT magazine’s Launch with Daniel Musto, celebrity stylist.
I was checked in by a sweet boy in a bow tie and passed the red carpet. The massive amount of people there and pumping music were overwhelming. Thankfully I had girl posse back up AND I ran into my friend Lorielle New who was in Deathproof/Grindhouse.
Heading to the bar I had a delicious cocktail of blackberry soda and vodka and proceeded to meet and great. I saw Perez Hilton there for a brief moment, local fashion celebrity Mikey Koffman in her signature sequin bow tie, and met the too talented Bruce Vilanch. He was beyond courteous and took tons of pictures with fans and me.
Bruce Vilanch, an inspiration to writers everywhere!
The runway show started and it was ‘Suited Up, Jean Jean and Swim’. All of which Daniel Musto introduced and had impeccably dressed/styled.
During the show I met the amazing Bryan Langston of Culture-edit. He represents amazing artists such as Peggy Moffit and Silvia Prada. Having just moved from NYC, we talked bi-coastal fashion and more. It was a pleasure to talk to and meet such and articulate and fashionable crowd. My girls and I left exhausted, happy fed and pleased.
The Macy’s OUT Launch Event was a complete success. Everyone was well-dressed and the food and drinks killed it were above normal fanfare for a fashion event. Thanks again to DKC PR for inviting us out. We had a great time!!
This weekend I am off the Niki Rich fashion show and the B:Scott/SarahScott shows. More to come and more celebs to meet.
Dear friends, fans and fashion kittens. As life would have it, I was recently damaged. Wouldn’t you know its my left arm, which coincidentally I use for a little thing called typing. (I’m typing this w one hand, yes you can laugh). So while I heal I am on a 2 week hiatus of lotsa meds, water and couch potato-ing. I will be back with fashion and news but for now, this little redhead needs rest & TV.
In the meantime go check out my new awesome magazine I’m on staff for, Fast Lane Magazine! Click below for the land of luxury;
I know I have been missing in action kittens. I hate to disappoint a massive reader population because I love you guys. You complete me. BUT, I have a damn good reason….
After writing my ass off for years, some college courses in a little thing Journalism and too much experience I am moving from here to the pages of FastLane Magazine as the Senior Men’s Fashion Editor! Yes it deserves an exclamation point. I’m proud of it, dammit.
What does that mean for HeathyrWolfe.com? A whole lotta double time. I will be writing a column on Men’s Fashion, working on the magazine online and IN PRINT AND writing for HeathyrWolfe.com. Sure it sounds like a lot, but this is why god invented caffeine and red bull.
So hop over in the next few weeks and check it out. Especially if you are a man. We have everything a male could want, cars, chicks and luxury. Who could ask for anything more?
