I admit I am a huge fan of 80’s music. All things one hit wonder I have on my iPod and of course I am a ridiculous Bowie fan. I am also a HUGE Jean Paul Gaultier fan.
When these two things coincide and come together we have JPG’s SS 2013 collection.
This season he conquered eccentric costume clothing for SS 2013 and took the 80’s back. Jean Paul Gaultier re-created something that was both an homage and a new look at an old glamorous style with geometric shapes, sheer clothing and dashes of monochromatic mixed with blinding and beautiful color prints.
As usual he conquered Paris Fashion Week SS 2013 with everything Gaultier. With KISS in the front row causing quite a stir he started the show with fierce 80’s inspired suits, complete with sexy cut outs and ending with Amanda Lear and a cavalcade of sexy man beasts in mesh outfits sporting sky-high platform heels (not boots, heels).
I believe they are the one design house that is consistently creating fashion that is wearable art. Playful, chic, unique, specialized and always with a twist they outdo themselves every season, creating something most can’t even imagine as much as visualize and make.
Check out some of the over the top, brightly colored beach, Grecian & Caribbean print chic they brought to life;

Of course, it’s D&G!! A perfect end to SS 2013 ❤
All hail the duo known as Dolce and Gabbana!
They are ALWAYS straight up fun. I hate stuffy designers who take themselves too seriously and these two always leave the show goers gasping and the runway smiling.
Recently our trusty Android’s from Samsung took a rather nasty legal hit (read HERE; http://phandroid.com/2012/08/24/breaking-verdict-reached-in-apple-v-samsung-patent-trial/) by the makers of iPhone in the legal department. Although they may have to pay 1.049 billion in damages, something tells me Samsung will make it back quickly with this advertisement;
Ouch! Apple ‘Geniuses’ beware. Droid has it out for you. Besides, the full specs on the S3 in that ad make iPhone look second par. And it is. Unknown to many users of the tech trendy iPhone, Droid’s are the number phone in the good ol USA.
As far as advertising, I’m wondering how iPhone will strike back. I’m sure Siri is plotting revenge as we speak.
I know I have been missing and you have missed me and this blog terribly. I had a fever flu. It makes you weak, ridiculous, grumpy, whiny and just plain a mess. You should be glad I wasn’t writing. It would have been a delusional mess, and I would have sounded something like Perez Hilton.
Back to Business.
Last Wednesday I was a lucky little monster. I was invited and CONFIRMED for #FNO in Beverly Hills presented by Beverly Hills Porsche and Wella Professionals. HUGE thanks to Runway Magazine for the invite.
Thank god for Advil Cold & Sinus. It is my secret weapon when doing business and ill. I use it so much they should sponsor me.
Outside was packed, professional and the list was so tight there was no room for anyone to fake VIP entry. Well done BH #FNO. Mikey Koffman of LA Fashion Weekend was hands on which was refreshing to see after the last LA Fashion Weekend fiasco. Nice to see her working with everyone and playing super nice.
(A little industry inside info. At one of her LA Fashion Weekend Koffman had the balls to piss off every photo agency and professional fashion photographer in LA. Mikey did not let them know until they arrived and that they would be forced to sign a waiver giving her possession of all photos. This is not only bad form but bad publicity. Anyone photog under contract with say ‘Getty Images/Splash News/AP Images’, has a contract that states they need permission to photograph said event and ALL photos got to ‘Getty/Splash/AP’ UNDER CONTRACT OF LAW of that event. It created a boycott that she is still on the mend from.)
Inside the line led to….the bar! If you ever go to a VIP event this will always be the most packed area. DO NOT approach if you are claustrophobic.
Crowd in line for barBreathing Room?I made it!
I decided to check out the vendors. I love beauty and hair products. This has to be the only times I have ever regretted not having longer hair. West Hollywood salon ‘Nine Zero One‘ was doing a braid bar. ENVY!!
The stylists were incredibly nice and convinced me to come by and check out their salon since they are in the WeHo neighborhood. I talked with the girls at Wella, Napoleon Makeup Academy and of course spoke with a cute male rep for Glowglam facial masque. Everyone was on their game and I got to sample some amazing products.
Networking through the crowd I met Steven Escobar, Editor-in-Chief of Diversity News (my BFF for the evening)
Roger Tinsley aka Danger Man, I ran into an actor friend of mine Michael, a fabulous tranny
-A little too much vodka was had by all
And her cute blond, tipsy friend and got to catch the end of Dina El-Bar’s Fashion show and see Anthony Franco’s to die for collection
Anthony Franco & model
This was an amazing night.
Turns out we did have some celebrities in the audience. Bridget Marquardt from ‘Girls Next Door’ was in the front row. No wonder I liked her best on the show. She’s a fashionista at heart. out and between fashion, beauty and general fun I cannot send enough thanks to Mikey Koffman and of course James, CEO and Owner of Runway Magazine for the invite. Despite having the flu it was the highlight of my week.
Also I want to give a big thanks to Nelson Shen and Bob Degadillo for taking my picture on the carpet.

Remember this Fashionista’s and Fashion Bloggers in the making. Always be nice to your Networkers and your Photographers. They will make you shine like a star, even when you have the flu.
Nope it isn’t a circus freekshow performer (they have class), but it is lovely Lindsay Lohan and her boobies swaying in the wind.
Check it;
Yup. It’s our ever lovely ginge LiLo shopping in Venice wearing not-a-bra.
I feel like I am looking at someones auntie from a backwards po-dunk town with fake Chanel knock off glasses sucking on her chick stick, with way to much side boob showing. Or maybe a long-lost relative of Kim “Tardy for the Party” Zolciak.
Either way Lindsay tried to balance it out by bringing a slightly curvier than her friend, with her. This too was a FAIL because she rocked her flower dress, scarf and chick stick, making LiLo look trashier.
When will Lindsay learn? Looking like your drank a 40 and sucked down a carton of Pall Mall’s isn’t pretty. I’m wondering why her friend isn’t helping her get her cute on.
In the meantime this discerning fashionista asks only one thing. Lindsay please head straight to Agent Provocateur and go binge on lingerie like you do on drugs and alcohol. If you are going to be spending money you don’t have, make it count baby!
I recently stumbled across a few campaign videos for fashion companies. I love the vivid new market of video that draws you in and makes you a fashion addict.
Odd models playing chess in Prada while looking sexy in full winter jackets (how do they do that?!) seems boring when saying it. But, no! Fast moving images, stoic supermodels, fierce makeup, perfume, jewelry, sharp imagery, art form. YES!
I’m sold…Video by mad GENIUS Steven Meisel of course
As August set’s in, it is time to start shopping for your fabulous and very luxe wardrobe. As I spoke of before fur covered everything is all the rage and DKNY has already released its first set of ‘hair’ inspired accessories. Add ‘Apocalypse Now’ weather in New York City and winter is looking extra tough.
The question raises well-groomed eyebrows everywhere. What to do, and where to shop?
Idra Alta Moda darling!
I know I have sung their praises before. Now that I have met and spoken with the owner, Jessica Soifer, I am in LOVE. This company devastates me, along with their jackets, capes, ear muffs, etc.
Feeling the need for classy, sexy, furry? You can even shop for your hunny with their MENSWEAR LINE (gasp)! Check out their Fall/Winter 2012 lookbook;
Like what you see? So do I!
I am literally ‘In Love’. That last jacket WILL be mine.
I love these. All these looks are classically inspired and can be worn with anything. A night at the Met or heading out to get drunk with drag queens.
For a truly metropolitan and/or continental look these sleek jackets are perfect for LA/NY/Paris. Too sleek and sexy for words is the well named, ‘Collezione’ by Idra Alta Moda.
I am terribly sorry if the gorgeous, fabulous and well-dressed men are feeling left out. I haven’t been blogging men’s fashion. Thank goodness for small and well thought out fashion collections, Idra Alta Moda has you covered.
For the man who dresses better than I do.
Last but hardly least Idra Alta Moda do custom wear as well as accessories.What about this fierce purse?! I am adding this to my collection for winter.
Idra Alta Moda is indeed a collection to watch and covet.
They are taking over the Fall/Winter 2012 fashion fur/leather scene. If you have met the owner, possibly the world. (Word is she is secretly in cahoots with Adolfo Sanchez in LA and a Russian designer who makes out-of-this-world clothing. More on that later)
Everyone one know ‘The Hampton’s’ are THE premiere spot for vacationing and being fabulous on the East Coast during summer. It’s a must have on your list of places to stay.
Don’t have a house there, get a time share. Don’t have a time share? Go for a day trip and act like you do. Can’t act that bourgeois, run for your life. A very well dressed lynch mob is coming for you with pitchforks by Eddie Bauer.
Besides elegant dinner parties, walks on the beach and enjoying a relaxing spot what else is there to do. Well, hunny when the rich get bored, they go shopping.
Luckily we are bringing you a little International talent in the design department with Adolfo Sanchez Designs;

It’s mid-way through summer and FW 2012/2013 is upon us. Fashion moves fast and even though I have only used my bikini once I’m already looking at my new winter wardrobe want’s.
It was my Twitter (shameless plug:follow me @HeathyrWolfe) that keyed me in to my new fashion fetish. Goat hair accessories.
Above is the Marni goat hair bag. Cute but a little plain.
I think it’s better to accessorize with something like this.
Jimmy Choo’s version;
Raaaaawwwr. Purr. Yes please.
And for a little flair in the shoe department, because no man or woman is complete without good shoe. I offer you the Yves Saint Laurent ‘Mohawk’ shoe.
or in blue
Oh sure, scream at me for being not PC. Peta has probably blacklisted me from any of their functions at this point. I know it’s from a cute(?) furry critter, but you know you secretly yearn for it too.
Consider the trend won’t you? I think we need more of this for fall and less of this.
(This is ACTUALLY Christian Lacroix)
Dontcha think?
Send in any new fall fetishes to Heathyrw@gmail.com and I might just blog ’em.
I’ve tried to avoid the fluorescent trend this summer labeling it as 90’s throwback and ‘too bold’ for me. I’ve sneered and jeered at it and thought it was a Forever 21 ‘youth’ trend for people 16 and under.
Until about 2 days ago when I saw the cutest fluorescent pink shoes on my girl Sophie Dee.
I still can’t believe it was my mouth saying, “OMG I love those!”
I’ve found fluorescent’s to actually be appealing and the perfect bold accessory. An accent to a scintillating LBD. Rocking the itsy bitsy, teeny-weeny, bikini at a pool party, and even better, the runway.
-Too pretty, to pass up
I think my past trauma with fluorescent ‘Jams’ and splatter paint everything from the late 80s-early 90s, can AND will be overcome this summer. After all I was only a child at the time and I think I blocked most of it out. Some people forget their clothes at school, I dream of bad clothes.
For hopping on this hot trend this summer since I need baby steps I recommend starting with pretty shoes, bright colors.
I completely endorse this as a great way to find your comfort zone with Neon and Fluorescent trends. It’s bold and daring without being overbearing. Dontcha think? Also I am still shaky on the whole Neon thing and want to try it with sexy skirts, shorts or jeans.
BUT…THIS is what really did the convincing.
Even Fergie looks good in brilliant beautiful neon orange.
2012 Grammy awards and working it!
I cannot stand the Ferg. It’s nothing personal but she just reeks of ew, bad outfits and I don’t even want to think about her and Josh Duhamel together. *shudder*
Her saving grace? She just made me like fluorescent in fashion.
If she looks this good in fluorescent orange, I’m sold. Her often eccentric fashion choices (except for anything Gareth Pugh) generally turn me off. This proves that fluorescent are the perfect sexy, summer accessory. A must for my next red carpet.
Sexy, alluring and definitely an attention grabber. Mix and match or just use it as an accent. Outta my way kittens! I have some 80s trauma that I need to get over. Fluorescent’s just found their way into my wardrobe.

Finding new blogs I feel ‘worthy’ of posting on here is difficult. I prefer quality, couture, art and the truly beautiful oddities in life. This is becoming much easier as I find that art nouveau is making a resurgence.
As I browsed the never-ending internet I found a few images from Interview Magazine that are a must share worth.The underlying theme in these bring forth and reflect images from the 1920’s cult classic ‘Metroplolis’.
For those without the background knowledge, ‘Metropolis’ was a unique and amazing film that brought both art nouveau and the artistic Bauhaus art of the time together with, well robots and the concept of a Utopian society riddled with secret robots. This later inspired movies such as ‘Blade Runner’, ‘The City of Lost Children’ and every A.I movie…EVER.
More importantly it has shaped fashion and created an obsession with neck plates, chokers and breast plates as seen in this amazing set of photos by Mert &Marcus.
Amazing, indeed, but the following set brought sultry, sex and the ultimate fantasy to the human eye for me.
This last photo especially as the model is decked head to toe in lace mask and bodysuit by the demigod designer known as Alexander McQueen.
This is the kind of inspirational clothing I need in my wardrobe. The complexity of design mixed with pure eroticism.
If you are curious to see the full spread by Interview Magazine,
Feeling in a rush? Need to keep fashionable? Strap this bad girl garter belt by Skingraft over a pair of leggings and you’ll not only look unique, but like a sexy metro leather bitch with an attitude. And it has a handy side pocket for lipstick, ID and…other.
Buy one for yourself. Buy one for your girlfriend. If she wears it, she’s a keeper.
